“PHUNtography” First and foremost, your shoot has to be fun!!! It should be called “PHUNtography. I’m a professional, but a total goof ball. Every session has to be fun and will be. Why is this so important? The camera never, ever lies. It picks up fear, nervousness, anxiety, stress, worry, bursting into tears, etc. and permanently etches those emotions right into every image created. So “job number one” is to always get the client to relax, have fun with it, joke with them, make ‘em laugh, and then, we get the perfect images; Perfectly relaxed “real” images of YOU, not the scared “deer in the headlight” look that most new clients start out with. Historic Preservation and Passion I go beyond just taking images into being an advocate of bringing those "blink-of-an-eye moments" to the future view of generations to come. Through capturing unique moments, I’ve done my job of preserving history. I truly live passionately by the quote on the home page, that photography keeps people in the present and moves them into the future. Those moments in time would have instantly evaporated if they weren’t captured in a photograph. “Photographs keep incredible moments from slipping away”. I love that every shoot is different and brings its own set of elements and challenges. Photography is truly like writing a novel with pictures, and each chapter brings new characters and adventures. I love the stories behind each picture I take. With my talent and exceptional perception of people, life and emotion, my finished products always represent the genuine personalities of my clients. Talk about Historic I have been happily doing photography for over 30 years. Yes, I’d like to say I started when I was only two years old, so as to not age myself, but, ok yea, that would be a bit of a stretch! There is a “WE” in “I” A great photographer and a superb stylist working hand in hand is always the element of perfection! As a husband and wife team, we are always on the same page for impeccable detail and the perfect shot! We have always worked well together on shoots. A “few” years ago, ok yes, quite a few years ago, I had a number of photo-shoots with my “not yet wife” who went on to win numerous awards with her headshots and portfolios...but even back then we worked great together creating award winning images. It’s always nice to have a female on a shoot for adjusting hair, clothes, limbs, etc. especially with the new, nervous clients, and to have someone that knows what I’m looking for and shares my vison...Ok, and yes sometimes, I share hers too! Lisa is phenomenal working with the clients. Miscellaneous I have won a number of awesome photography awards, including “Thumbtacks’ Best of 2015 Winner for Corporate Headshots”... But, I like to give credit to those clients that took our “goof ball antics”, relaxed enough, and allowed us to take those award winning images...of them! So I thank all of you, for all of the awards I’ve won! Our Rates There are many, many price variables in all the things we shoot. But we are definitely affordable with competitive prices especially for what we offer and what we deliver! Just to give you an idea, headshots are $150.00, Senior Pictures are $250 (with TONS of extras included), Modeling Portfolio Sessions begin at only $100 and Family Portraits start at only $150.00, Weddings are “Build Your Own” with many great options. All of our packages include lots of extras, such as print sheets included, CD’s, online password protected galleries, extra time and looks, etc. We will always give you an accurate quote for your session, up front, and NEVER have hidden fee’s or add-ons.
